Partners of the project PATSAFE

Strategic partnership with Avedis Donabedian Foundation (FAD) from Spain and IQ Healthcare (IQ-HC) from The Netherlands, both international leaders in patient safety research, enables developing a long-lasting knowledge exchange alliance allowing ICM-UT to capitalise on its current achievements and to overcome gaps in scientific excellence in the field of patient safety research.

FAD has expertise on patient safety research and implementation science: identification of risks and hazards, risk analysis and evaluation of interventions. Second, the FAD team will contribute with expertise in elaboration a long-term strategic development plan and involving relevant stakeholders to ensure maximum synergies with national and European priorities, maximize the effect of structural funds, make sure that research and innovation resources reach critical mass.

IQ-HQ has expertise on safety culture research methodology, patients’ involvement for their safety as well the expertise in validation of study instruments.
